Autism Queensland offers groups for teenagers at the Teen Tech Shed, located onsite at the Autism Hub.
Teen Tech Shed is social group for teens (13–17 years) facilitated by experienced mentors and therapists, providing opportunity to connect with peers through shared interests in technology, gaming, art, design, creative writing, music, film and more. This group offers participants a supportive and creative space to develop and practice a range of skills including building confidence, working on creative passions, being part of a group, engaging and collaborating with others, and exploring post-school opportunities.
Allies and Adventures is a fun group for teens (13–17 years) who like to play Dungeons and Dragons. In this group, you can make friends and learn new skills while playing games. An experienced mentor and therapist will be there to help teens to work with others, solve problems and have fun with fellow players.
